How long have you been in business?
I have been in business since 1997.
What is your primary product or service?
I hand-paint murals and create faux-finishes for residential and commercial spaces.
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
I have been painting since I was 6 years old. I have an MFA and a BFA in fine arts, concentration--painting. In my artwork, there was a natural progression to wall references, textured walls, and painting on walls. I painted my first mural for a friend when I was around 23 and became hooked.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
Art is my passion. I think that is what separates me from other folks.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
Since I primarily work for people in their spaces, my studio is in my home. I prefer to keep my business small--just myself. I am very much into quality control and I do all the work myself. Occasionally, I hire a helper to help me set up scaffolding.
